1944 Born in Willamette Valley in Oregon.
1962-66 Attended Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon; 
BA in Art.
1966-68 Military service in Vietnam with U.S. Navy.
1968-70 Studied painting and drawing at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam, Netherlands.  Group exhibition at Museum Fodor, Amsterdam, and exhibited  at Galerie De Drie Haringen, Enkhuizen, Netherlands.
1970-71 Attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania; studied painting, drawing and special education in the arts.
1971-73 Attended Pennsylvania State University; studied painting, drawing, esthetics and art history; symposia: Conservation and Museology with Dr. Eric Hulmer,Chief Curator, Butler Institute of Art.  Instructor, visual arts.  Museum technician, Palmer Museum of Art; MFA in Painting.
1973-79 Painted in New York City and participated in solo and group shows with Spring Street Gallery, Soho.  Group exhibition at Grey Gallery, New York University.
1979-81 Participated in solo and group shows at Gallery Doshi, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  Group exhibition at William Penn Museum in Harrisburg.
1981-83 Visual art instructor, Alan Short Center, Stockton, California; exhibited at the White House Gallery in Stockton.
1983-86 Traveled in Oregon and Washington; painted “Window” series of paintings.
1986-88 Volunteer in U.S. Peace Corps in Tunisia.  Art instructor, special education; in-service presentations on “Art and the Exceptional Child;” supervised construction of permanent outdoor installation and mural.

1989-96 Exhibition Specialist at Meridian International Center, Washington, DC; worked with foreign embassies to exhibit artists from around the world in the U.S.
1990-96 Solo and group shows at the Artists’ Museum, Washington, DC, and the Nouveau Museum in Georgetown.
1996-00 Visual art instructor, The Delaplaine Visual Arts Center, Frederick, Maryland.
1996 - Acrylic painting instructor, Montgomery County Recreation Department, Silver Spring, Maryland
